Sony has a rich history of resounding successes and crushing failures that have made the company what it is today. Since Nintendo exists in its own isolated little world, Sony’s only competitor is Microsoft, which allocates nearly unlimited budgets to developing Xbox. Sony cannot afford such a luxury, so it tries to evolve differently.
