Head of PlayStation Indies picks the best indie games of the year and praises the fast SSD in PlayStation 5

The year 2021 is coming to a close. The head of PlayStation Indies decided to share a list of his 12 favorites. Naturally, there was also praise for the next-generation console, PlayStation 5.

Shuhei Yoshida praises the next-generation console on the blog page: “I had more time to play games this year than last year, and it’s all thanks to PlayStation 5: the new console runs faster, so I spend less time waiting for games to launch, and its incredibly fast SSD speeds up loading”.

His list of 12 favorites (listed in no particular order) for PS4, PS VR, and PS5 is as follows:

2. Chicory: A Colorful Tale
3. Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! Yoshida notes: “Out of all the games I played this year, this one made the strongest impression on me”
