The developers of Genshin Impact explained and showed Shenhe’s abilities in action. The heroine received a story trailer
With Update 2.4, Genshin Impact will introduce new characters: Yun Jin and Shenhe. Chinese company miHoYo has so far focused on just one of them.
5-star Shenhe received a trailer, and the developers showed (animations are available here) how masterfully this Cryo-wielding girl handles a polearm.
The video description notes that since childhood, Shenhe lived in seclusion in the mountains, studying under an Adeptus and training diligently day after day (engaging in “spiritual cultivation”).
- Normal Attack: up to 5 consecutive spear strikes.
- Charged Attack: consumes stamina to perform a lunging strike, dealing damage to opponents along the path.
- Talent “Spring Spirit Summoning” with 2 ways to cast. Press: rushes forward together with a Talisman Spirit, dealing Cryo DMG to all opponents in her path. Hold: commands the Talisman Spirit to deal AoE Cryo DMG. Activating the spirit applies the “Icy Quill” buff: if Cryo DMG is dealt, such attacks are enhanced based on Shenhe’s attack power.
- Talent “Divine Maiden’s Deliverance”: unleashes the Talisman Spirit, creating a field around the heroine that decreases opponents’ Cryo and Physical RES, as well as periodically dealing Cryo DMG.
Update 2.4 for Genshin Impact is scheduled for release on January 5, 2022. Starting from December 31, 2021, it can be pre-loaded.
The trailer has already received an unofficial Russian dub.
