Amid news of the deal for Microsoft to acquire Activision Blizzard, an executive at the latter named Mike Ybarra posted an intriguing message on Twitter.
On January 18, Ybarra wrote: “Saw some great projects last week – so proud of the teams working on behalf of our players. Another [project] this week, and then two more the last week of January. Can’t wait to share with all of you.”
He did not specify particular titles, but added the hashtag “#blizzard”, which led users to start speculating about anything from World of Warcraft to StarCraft coming to Xbox.
