Xbox Series X|S will not get more expensive following PlayStation 5, Microsoft assured

The tech giant has no intention of shifting financial losses onto the shoulders of its customers, as Sony did

Following the news of PlayStation 5 console price hikes caused by the unstable global economic situation and inflation, Windows Central reached out to find out whether Microsoft plans to pass its financial losses onto customers. The answer was negative.

Prices for Xbox Series X and Series S consoles will remain as follows:

• Series X — 500 euros, 499 dollars, and 450 pounds sterling;
• Series S — 300 euros, 299 dollars, and 250 pounds sterling.

However, one still shouldn’t put absolute faith in Microsoft not suddenly breaking its word.
