CD Projekt RED pleased fans with a flurry of announcements. From social media posts, one might get the impression that the company is already making several new games in The Witcher franchise and a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.
However, that is not entirely true. A document intended for presentation to investors outlines the strategy of CD Projekt RED.
CD Projekt RED clarified that development of the new Cyberpunk 2077 has not even started.
The original Cyberpunk 2077 was announced back in 2012, and its scandalous release took place in 2020. The Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be released in 2023.
