Scars Above captivates with atmosphere. Demo of potential sci-fi hit available on Steam
Translated with AI from the Russian original.
Steam Next Fest 2022 provides an opportunity to play demos of several games coming out soon. One of the most interesting is Scars Above.
The sci-fi game presented at gamescom 2022 has received a demo on Steam.
Below is gameplay footage from the demo, and as can be seen, it is an atmospheric project focused on exploring a mysterious planet where the protagonist, Dr. Kate Ward, finds herself. It turns out that a civilization once lived here, leaving behind bizarre artifacts that cause disturbing visions.
In addition to pleasant graphics and solid third-person combat mechanics, there are plenty of creepy creatures and mysteries here.
The developers from Mad Head Games have not yet announced the release date. Publisher Prime Matter assures that the release will happen “very soon” (likely in 2023). The game will be available on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
