Sony prioritizes regular customers in the PS Store and even resolves their support inquiries faster

PlayStation Stars loyalty program members are outraged by the unfair division of players into tiers based on how much people spend in the PlayStation Store

The PlayStation Stars loyalty program was recently launched for Western users, who quickly became outraged by what they perceived as unfair treatment from Sony.

The program itself is divided into four tiers. All new members start at Level 1 and can then level up by purchasing games in the PlayStation Store and earning trophies.

Level 4 loyalty program members receive priority service, and their support tickets are processed significantly faster. Asian users were the first to notice this when PlayStation Stars launched in Japan and Asia; now, players from the US, UK, and Europe have also begun expressing outrage, believing that Sony should give equal attention to absolutely everyone, regardless of how much money they spend in the PS Store or how actively they play games.

Participation in the PlayStation Stars loyalty program is completely free and available to all users.
