DC Studios co-head and acclaimed director James Gunn stated that all future games in the DC universe will be interconnected with Warner Bros. movies, series, and animated projects. This is not entirely new information, as WB head David Zaslav had previously promised a shared universe.
However, one should not expect Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to be part of Gunn and Zaslav’s new vision, since the superhero action game, which has already suffered several delays, is part of the Batman: Arkham universe that began back in 2009 with Batman: Arkham Asylum.
