Speaking with IGN, the developers of the action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty revealed the number of weapons that can be used to maim opponents, as well as the number of armor sets to protect against enemy strikes.
In total, the game features 17 weapon types, 13 of which are intended for close combat, as well as over 40 armor sets. Choices include bows, arrows, spears, swords, axes, and halberds.
“We chose weapons that best fit Chinese martial arts. Moves for each weapon type were created using motion capture performed by real martial artists specializing in those weapons,” — says development producer Masakazu Hirayama.
The creators of Fallen Dynasty note that by mastering a specific weapon type, you will be able to complete the entire game with it. However, not all weapons will be equally effective against certain enemy types.
