During a special Q&A panel on Reddit dedicated to Sega’s financial matters, the developers reported being very satisfied with the results. Moreover, the studio admits that the results achieved by Sonic Frontiers exceeded their wildest expectations.
This definitely bodes well not only for the game itself (which will receive its first full-fledged DLC in the near future, as highlighted during the panel), but also for the brand. It may not be long before new games dedicated to the Blue Hedgehog appear.
