Activision has once again threatened cheaters in Modern Warfare 2 and the Warzone 2 battle royale with punishment and humiliation unleashed upon them by the updated RICOCHET system, which has learned to detect even Cronus peripheral devices that eliminate weapon recoil in the game.
If RICOCHET detects the use of prohibited software, all honest players will become invisible and invulnerable to the offender, and the cheater will automatically lower their weapon when attempting to shoot at them. Meanwhile, the offender will be completely vulnerable.
Players caught using cheats and exploits will first receive warnings, followed by a rating reset and a subsequent account ban.
