The proceedings in the case of two individuals linked to the Lapsus$ hacker group are ongoing. The results of a psychiatric assessment have been revealed.
18-year-old Arion Kurtaj, suspected of hacking Rockstar Games, involvement in the massive GTA 6 leak, and threats to release source code, has been deemed unfit to stand trial.
This means the jury will only determine whether or not he committed the acts, rather than delivering a guilty or not guilty verdict.
In total, Kurtaj faces 12 charges: blackmail, fraud, and computer misuse.
Another 17-year-old suspect is also involved in the case, charged with blackmail (2 counts) and computer misuse (3 counts). His name has not been disclosed.
Rockstar Games is not the only victim of the hackers; NVIDIA, Revolut, and Uber were also targeted.
