Rumor: PlayStation Studios will reveal a new game inspired by a Marvel hit

The next State of Play has been announced, during which a number of interesting games are expected to appear. Some will be released exclusively for PS5 and PC, and one of the surprises will be a new installment in the Metro series.

Insider Billbil-kun reported that Sony might reveal the Concord project. This is the first game that Firewalk Studios has made since being acquired by Sony.

Sony showed a brief teaser in May 2023, and new information is expected soon. They are expected to show “gameplay and all (or some) characters of the multiplayer shooter.” Interestingly, according to Billbil-kun, the game is heavily inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy:

“Based on the first elements that we were able to gather, and without wanting to spoil your fun, we can conclude that Concord is heavily inspired by the Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy universe. Knowing that Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, released by Square Enix, was designed exclusively for single-player, we wonder if Concord will embody something similar to Guardians of the Galaxy in multiplayer mode.”

It is worth noting that Concord, according to initial information, is a first-person PvP shooter.
