Helldivers 2 creators nerfed the community’s favorite shotgun and buffed the flamethrower, which barely anyone uses

The Railgun has also become a less attractive choice for Helldivers, as it was decided to nerf it as well

The developers of Helldivers 2 have released another update for the game, sparking a wave of indignation among fans, as it nerfed the “Breaker”, the community’s favorite shotgun. The Railgun also now deals less damage to armored enemies in safe mode.

On the other hand, the flamethrower, which barely anyone actually uses, now deals 50% more damage. A few more additions:

• The energy shield now takes longer to recharge
• Fire tornadoes will now rage across planets, while meteor showers and other hazards will rain down on the Helldivers’ heads
• Eradication missions will take longer and require eliminating significantly more enemies
• Armor stats have been fixed

The update is currently only available on PC.
