11 bit studios has announced that the city-building strategy game Frostpunk 2 will be released on July 25 on PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store. The game will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, as well as on Game Pass for Xbox and PC, but at a later date.
“The game takes place 30 years after an apocalyptic blizzard ravaged the world of Frostpunk. Earth is still overwhelmed by the unending frost and harsh, icy climate. You play as the leader of a resource-hungry metropolis where expansion and internal conflicts are an unavoidable reality. It is up to you to make decisions about your City’s future and face their consequences,” reads the official description of the project.
