Insider: EA was so disappointed with Dead Space remake sales that it canceled the second part

The Motive team, which worked on the updated version of the original horror, is now helping with the new Battlefield

According to well-known journalist and insider Jeff Grubb, Electronic Arts has canceled the development of the Dead Space 2 remake.

Motive Studio, which worked on the updated version of the original sci-fi horror, was sent to assist DICE and Ripple Effect with the new Battlefield.

According to Grubb, work on the Dead Space 2 remake was halted because EA was extremely disappointed with the sales of the first Dead Space remake.

Grubb’s statement looks convincing against the backdrop of the Dead Space remake joining the Game Pass and EA Play library on October 26.
