“An absolute abomination. Bring it all back.” Players are somewhat displeased with the new character creator in Pokemon GO

Niantic has released an update for its game, introducing certain changes to the avatar system

Pokemon GO has received a new avatar system which, judging by numerous comments on social media, nobody liked at all.

The updated creator allows customization of various avatar appearance options, including height, skin tone, body type, hairstyle, facial expressions, and many others. As Niantic states, players now have the opportunity to “express themselves like never before”. Players themselves disagree with this statement and believe that the creator offers exclusively ugly, disproportionate, or simply bizarre options that are far from the real appearance of most people.

“i know you guys put a lot of time and effort into this avatar update so i just wanted to take a moment to say you did a truly lousy job”.

“I cannot stop laughing looking at the hideous player avatars. An 11 out of 10 joke”.

“Nobody asked for this. Change it all back”.

“The person who approved this update should visit an eye doctor”.

“It feels like you went out of your way to make the creator as bad as possible”.
