All gameplay content in Space Marine 2 will be free. No microtransactions or in-game store

The creators of the shooter plan to release paid content for the game, but it will be limited exclusively to cosmetic items

Publisher Focus Entertainment has confirmed that all gameplay content in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 — new modes, maps, or other gameplay additions — will be completely free. The developers do not plan to add microtransactions or an in-game store to their action game.

Players will be able to spend money in Space Marine 2 exclusively on cosmetic items that do not affect gameplay in any way.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is scheduled for release on September 9 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
