Ubisoft announced that the Toronto team has joined the work on the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake.
“The Sands of Time holds a special place in the hearts of many employees at our studio. I still remember how much fun I had playing the original with its groundbreaking ability to rewind time. Now we too have the chance to rewind time, using the latest technology, experience, and talent to improve this game with our partners at Ubisoft Montreal,” — said Darryl Long, Managing Director of Ubisoft Toronto.
Initially, Ubisoft's Indian office worked on the The Sands of Time remake, but later the project was handed over to the Montreal team, which decided to start development from scratch.
