A user has surfaced on the ResetEra forum claiming that layoffs are currently taking place at A44 Games. The information could be mere fiction, as this person does not directly know any of the studio's employees and relies solely on the words of a friend who is allegedly acquainted with someone from A44 Games.
Since its release, Flintlock's concurrent player count has not exceeded 648 players, and at the time of writing, it stands at 66 people.
Earlier, A44 Games claimed that the game's audience had reached 500,000 people, without clarifying that these could be Game Pass subscribers who launched Flintlock for 5–10 minutes out of curiosity.
