Dead by Daylight spin-off cancelled after unsatisfactory test results

Behaviour Interactive has shut down development of the Dead by Daylight spin-off called Project T, which Midwinter Entertainment studio was working on.

“When we conceived Project T, we wanted players to be involved as early as possible, which led to the creation of the Insider Program.”

“This approach allowed us to get feedback on the core design and gameplay very early on, something that usually only happens when development is quite far along. Following a playtest in July, we ran a thorough risk assessment.”

“While a number of players expressed appreciation for what they played, unfortunately, the outcome of this deep analysis yielded unsatisfactory overall results.”

Project T was announced as a cooperative PvE shooter set on a large map inhabited by all kinds of dangerous entities.
