Mobile version of Total War: EMPIRE to be released on November 21 with improved graphics and interface

The Total War series is gradually moving to mobile platforms. Publisher Feral Interactive has released a new trailer showcasing the key changes in the mobile version and announced the release date for Total War: EMPIRE

Publisher Feral Interactive announced the release date for the mobile version of the iconic strategy game Total War: Empire in a new video — the game will become available on November 21, 2024, on iOS and Android devices. Pre-orders are already open in the App Store and Google Play, with the full price of the project set at $20. However, as is often the case, the game is unavailable in Russian app stores.

The developers state that this is not just a port: Feral Interactive took into account their experience with previous successful mobile versions of strategies such as Total War: Rome and Medieval II. The developers optimized the graphics and redesigned the interface for comfortable gameplay on touch devices. The mobile version will retain the original spirit of Total War: Empire, where players will conquer Europe, India, and the Americas in an 18th-century setting using diplomacy, economics, and large-scale battles.

As a reminder, the original Total War: Empire, developed by Creative Assembly and released in 2009, received high praise for its historical accuracy and groundbreaking naval battles by the standards of the time. The game is still considered one of the best in the series, and now it is preparing to make its debut on mobile devices.
