Retro gamers planning to buy the AYANEO 3 handheld console-PC in the near future should pay attention to the recently announced Retro Power edition.
At the end of January, the AYANEO 3 will be released on the market. To build up excitement around the device, the developers showcased a new colorway for this handheld console, which can also be described as a portable PC.
Previously, the device was planned to be available only in black and white, but the team concluded that gamers would like to see a more colorful design. The new edition was named Retro Power.
The AYANEO 3 will support Magic Module technology. Along with swappable buttons, the device features replaceable modules. These modules are intended to provide fully customizable controls, allowing players to adjust the control layout to match their preferences.
Buyers will be offered a choice of two processors — AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Ryzen 7 8840U, and two display options – OLED and LCD. Furthermore, according to the team, a special magnetic levitation motor in the AYANEO 3 is designed to deliver realistic haptic feedback.
Exactly how much this modular handheld gaming device from AYANEO will cost remains unknown.
