Screenwriter of horror film “28 Days Later” to take on Elden Ring film adaptation

The portal Nexus Point News, which was the first to share the news about the Elden Ring adaptation, has deleted the post.

Alex Garland, known for films such as “28 Days Later”, “Civil War”, “Ex Machina”, and “Annihilation”, will direct an adaptation of Elden Ring. The movie will be produced by the A24 studio.

At the moment, details about the project, including the script, cast, and production timeline, remain under wraps.

Filming is expected to begin in 2026.
