Filming for the Street Fighter adaptation has already begun, but new members continue to join the cast.
According to Nexus Point News, American comedian Eric Andre has joined the filming crew of the upcoming Street Fighter movie. He will play Don Sauvage, the eccentric commentator for the CWA (Capcom Wrestling Association) tournament, familiar to fans of the games.
It has also become known about a change in distributor: the film will be released under the Paramount brand, although Sony Pictures was previously engaged in distribution. This explains the disappearance of the project from Sony's release schedule and the lack of a new release date.
After a delay related to the departure of the Philippou brothers, who held the director's chair, the film has entered the active production stage. Photos from the filming, which is taking place in Australia, have already begun to appear online.
