As expected, Team Cherry's big announcement was the release date of its long-awaited game.
Team Cherry has unveiled a new trailer for its Metroidvania Hollow Knight: Silksong, and has also announced its release date — September 4. The game will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox, PlayStation and in Game Pass.
The authors promise more than 40 bosses and over 200 types of enemies.
Team Cherry also brought a demo version of the game to gamescom 2025, allowing you to explore one of the later levels of Silksong, fight one of the bosses, and evaluate the combat system.
