According to insider Dusk Golem, Capcom is using a generative AI system in Resident Evil Requiem that allows opponents to behave extremely realistically and use unexpected tricks to annoy the main character. As an example, Dusk Golem cites footage of a monster stalker who, trying to get to Gray, throws a nearby medical cart at her.
Commentators under the publication noted that the same ingenious artificial intelligence was in the horror Alien: Isolation, where the xenomorph also showed ingenuity in attempts to find and kill the heroine.
The release of Resident Evil Requiem will take place on February 27, 2026 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
