At Gamescom 2025, MSI unveiled the MEG X870E Godlike X Edition anniversary motherboard. Technically, the model is identical to the standard X870E but features a design with gold-plated elements and a set of collectible accessories.
Gold-plated decorative inserts are located on the heatsinks, chipset, and Dynamic Dashboard III display — a removable screen with magnetic attachment. The kit includes a nameplate, a special stand, and a rare Black Lucky plush dragon. The circulation will be limited to 1000 copies.
In terms of specifications, the MEG X870E Godlike X Edition repeats the basic version: 24+2+1-phase VRM power system, massive heatsinks, and additional power connectors for enthusiasts.
The cost of the anniversary version has not yet been announced. For comparison: the standard X870E Godlike costs about $1100, so the "golden" version will likely be more expensive.
