Prices Announced for AYN Thor Portable and Clamshell Console with Dual Screens
Following the announcement of prices for the AYN Thor portable and clamshell console with dual screens, its direct competitors, including Retroid Pocket Flip 2 and Ayaneo Pocket DS, may lose some of their audience.
AYN has revealed the pre-order prices for the Thor portable and clamshell console with dual screens.
During the "Early Bird" promotion, the version with 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip will cost $249 (20,056 rubles), while the version with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and 8 GB + 128 GB will cost $299 (24,084 rubles).
The variant with 8Gen2 and 12 GB + 256 GB will cost $349 (28,111 rubles), and the one with 16 GB + 1 TB will cost $429 (34,555 rubles).
Retail prices will be as follows: SD865 and 8 GB + 128 GB – $259 (20,862 rubles), 8Gen 2 and 8 GB + 128 GB – $309 (24,889 rubles), 8Gen 2 and 12 GB + 256 GB – $359 (28,917 rubles), 8Gen 2 and 16 GB + 1 TB – $459 (36,972 rubles).
In comparison, the Retroid Pocket Flip 2 with an SD865 chip and 8 GB + 128 GB is currently available for $229 (18,445 rubles), while the Ayaneo Pocket DS with a Qualcomm Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 chip and 8 GB + 128 GB costs $399 (32,139 rubles).
