Path of Exile 2 will soon add a lot of content and mechanics.
The creators of Path of Exile 2 held a presentation of the "Third Edict" update. Grinding Gear Games talked about the new features:
- The fourth act of the story campaign will be non-linear — it will offer to explore several islands in the desired order.
- "Cruel difficulty" will be removed, instead there will be three temporary mini-acts with 19 new locations and 12 bosses.
- Synchronous trading will appear — the system will allow you to buy items from other players without requiring the seller's presence.
- "Sprint" function — when holding the dodge roll button, the character will switch to sprint after completing the roll
- Support stones have been completely redesigned. It will be possible to use as many copies of the same support stone on a character as you want, and each stone now has several ranks, which allows you to improve them as you progress through the game.
- Large-scale improvements have been made to each character class, including the addition of new skills, 150 new groups of passive skills on the tree, huge enhancements to existing skills, and more.
The release of the "Third Edict" for Path of Exile 2 is expected on August 29.
