Bandai Namco continues to improve the anime soulslike.
Code Vein 2 recently received a series of updates that significantly improve the gameplay, making it more accessible to players. Patches 1.0.4 and 1.0.5 include many changes that make battles easier and make the game more understandable and dynamic.
One of the important improvements was the acceleration of the character's actions: now dodging and using abilities are performed faster, and the delay between attacks has also been reduced.
On the other hand, the developers weakened the bosses, reducing the frequency of their attacks and making it easier to stun them. Players now not only hit faster, but also get more time to deal damage and face less pressure from bosses.
In addition to improving the combat system, the patches also affected other aspects of the game. Additional resurrection monuments have been added, the walking and running animations of the character have been improved, and the sound effects for certain actions, such as parrying and attacks from the rear, have been improved.
In addition, the amount of calculations for some bosses and dungeons has been reduced, which reduced the load on the system and eliminated critical frame rate drops in certain situations.
New updates are expected in the coming weeks that will continue to optimize Code Vein 2. The next patch plans to improve the physics of enemies and NPCs, reduce the load on the processor during the appearance of opponents, and fix performance issues when loading new locations.
