As Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 prepares for its November 14 release, Treyarch's Associate Creative Director Miles Leslie has commented on long-standing accusations that the series has become lazy.
Some even believe that Black Ops 7 could lose to Battlefield 6 this year. In an interview, Leslie said that the team does not pay attention to such statements.
"You just don't worry about it, right? When we start, we don't think about what others will think. We have a vision, we are going towards it. There will always be people who will criticize, but we are looking for constructive criticism. Everything else is noise. You have to filter it out and follow your plan."
Regarding Battlefield 6, Leslie noted that the Black Ops 7 team participated in open beta tests and respects other games, but is focused on their work:
"It's a fun game, we are fans of all games. But we are concentrating on our craft. If we are happy with the tests, the fans will also be happy."
