Russian-speaking gamers can now pre-order the encyclopedia "Core Bestiary" for the second edition of the Pathfinder tabletop role-playing game and a large set of tokens, as well as receive a double-sided game board "Attack on the Village" as a gift.
Hobby World Publishing has launched a campaign on the CrowdRepublic crowdfunding platform to pre-order a new encyclopedia for the Pathfinder tabletop role-playing game – "Core Bestiary".
Currently, this encyclopedia can be purchased for 4000 rubles, a set of tokens – for 4000 rubles, a pack with the "Core Bestiary" and a set of tokens – for 7995 rubles, the Pathfinder starter set (Second Edition) – for 2695 rubles, the main rulebook – for 3595 rubles, the Kingmaker adventure series – for 5845 rubles.
The "Core Bestiary" is an expanded and improved re-release of the second edition of the Pathfinder rules, which will be useful for both game masters selecting enemies for adventurers and players looking for allies to help them.
To use the book, you will need the "Core Rulebook". The main section of the "Bestiary" contains descriptions of individual creatures or groups of creatures that are close in meaning and spirit, their parameters, place in the world, behavior, or structure of society. The introduction provides advice on how best to use creatures in the game, how to correctly understand their parameters, use abilities, and play out their interaction with heroes.
The book features over 400 different creatures, eight new dragons, including the luck dragon, adamantine dragon, mirage dragon, and devil dragon, classic monsters inspired by mythology, tips on how to use creatures in the game, understand their parameters, use abilities, and play out their interaction with heroes.
It also includes simple templates and tips for modifying creatures to suit specific needs and circumstances, a list of creatures sorted by type and level, and hundreds of vivid illustrations.
By supporting the campaign, gamers will receive not only the book, but also a large set of tokens for it. The set includes more than 500 creature tokens that can be used for both Pathfinder RPGs and any other fantasy game. The tokens are printed on thick cardboard and are compatible with plastic or metal miniatures. In addition, the token box contains 20 medium, 10 large, and 5 huge stands.
It is worth noting that the team already has 775,285 rubles in the piggy bank, which means that the super goal of the campaign has been reached. All pre-order participants will receive a double-sided game board "Attack on the Village" for free. On one side, you can find a village of a dozen houses built around a town hall or chapel. The reverse side depicts the same settlement, but after an attack, and now it is on fire.
Hobby World plans to begin delivery of the "Core Bestiary" book and additional rewards in October–November 2025.
