In a few days, The Coalition will release Gears of War: Reloaded, giving new players the opportunity to experience the iconic game and its memorable characters.
Gears of War: Reloaded is a remaster of the first installment in the third-person shooter series that has been the face of Xbox for many years. With nearly 20 years having passed since the original release, and with the upcoming prequel Gears of War: E-Day in development, the company decided to refresh the game and offer it to new users. The release is scheduled for August 26, 2025, on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
In anticipation of the release, The Coalition is publishing materials about the members of Delta Squad. Now it's the turn of the squad's commander, the game's main character, and the symbol of the series — Marcus Fenix.
"The iconic main character of the series, Marcus, embodies the "rebellious" worldview of Gears of War and the moral determination to do what is right. His character hardly changes throughout the adventure. He remains unchanged even as people and the world around him change."
