Purchases are now possible on some Russian Battle.net accounts — two methods available
Blizzard Entertainment has restricted the distribution of its products in Russia, but something happened recently.
Wishko and other Battle.net users noticed in August that it became possible to make purchases on Russian accounts.
Two payment methods opened up for them in the Blizzard Entertainment service: via Apple Pay or Google Pay. You can "purchase almost any goods, items and services of the store, both old and recently added new ones, including the Midnight add-on for WoW." However, you cannot take out a renewable subscription to WoW.
Payment is not available on all accounts, and it is not yet clear on what principle access is granted. It is assumed that this may be some kind of technical error.
