Warner Bros. has announced that the animated film “Batman: Knightfall — Part 2: Knightquest” will be released on December 15, 2026. Along with the release date, the studio unveiled a new clip from the animated movie:
Following his defeat in the battle against Bane, Bruce Wayne is left paralyzed from the waist down and can no longer protect Gotham. He entrusts his mantle to Jean-Paul Valley, known as Azrael. Taking up the Batman suit, he employs far more brutal methods to fight crime, jeopardizing the legacy of his mentor.
Bruce Wayne is voiced once again by Anson Mount, Bane by Michael Mando, and Azrael by Pablo Schreiber. The film is directed by Jeff Wamester, who worked on the animated trilogy “Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths,” with the screenplay written by Jim Krieg based on a story by Jeremy Adams.
The final film of the trilogy will be released in 2027.
