Falcom is preparing a Western release of Ys X: Proud Nordics, but fans will have to wait until 2026. The game will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
Currently, Ys X: Proud Nordics is available on Steam, but only in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. A localized version in several languages will appear next year.
The game was originally released in Asia in 2025 as an improved version of the Japanese role-playing game, which was released in 2023 for Switch, PS4, and PS5, and reached PC in 2024. The Proud Nordics version features improved graphics and performance, as well as expanded content.
Additionally, new skills, bosses, and locations have been added, making Ys X: Proud Nordics the complete and definitive version of the game. Fans have access to more adventures and battles with new enemies, as well as an expanded experience compared to previous editions.
