System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Edition has received an update adding full mod support, including all the add-ons created over the years of the original's existence. The fan community has been waiting for this step for a long time.
Now players can run not only new modifications, but also old campaigns with additional missions. This opens up almost limitless possibilities for rethinking the game.
Installation is simple: you need to download the mod, pack it into a .zip archive and transfer it to the project folder. The remaster supports files with the .kpf extension, and old mods are easily converted.
To get started, simply select "New Game" and go to the "Mod" section, or launch a specific fan campaign. This approach allows even veterans to rediscover System Shock 2 and see the familiar world from a different angle.
With the update, the project turns into a full-fledged adventure for both beginners and dedicated fans.
