Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has received a summons to court related to a harassment case that was heard earlier this year. As reported by French news network BFM TV, Guillemot is required to appear in court in Bobigny on October 1, 2025. The summons was filed by the Solidaires Informatique union and four private individuals who participated in the previous trial.
Earlier, in June 2025, three (now former) Ubisoft executives—former Chief Creative Officer Serge Hascoët, former Vice President of Editorial and Creative Services Tommy François, and former game designer Guillaume Patry—received suspended prison sentences and fines for various crimes related to psychological and sexual harassment. François, in particular, was found guilty of moral and sexual harassment, as well as attempted sexual assault, receiving a three-year suspended sentence and a €30,000 fine. Patry was accused of psychological pressure and received a 12-month suspended sentence and a €10,000 fine.
Ubisoft provided a statement noting that it will cooperate with the judicial system but believes that the court previously found no grounds for criminal prosecution of the company or its management.
These same plaintiffs have filed a summons on the same facts that were considered by the court in June after an investigation by the prosecutor's office. The prosecutor's office confirmed that there are no grounds for criminal prosecution of Ubisoft or its management.
