"Best Political Thriller": Pedro Pascal Praises \"Andor\" Series

Actor Pedro Pascal, after completing a number of major projects, found time to watch Tony Gilroy's \"Andor\" series.

Pedro Pascal, known for his participation in a number of large-scale projects, only recently found time to watch the series \"Andor\" - one of the most highly rated projects in the \"Star Wars\" universe in recent years. On social media, the actor wrote:"I'm unforgivably late to the party but this is possibly the best political thriller ever made."

The series previously received positive reviews from other industry representatives. Writer George R. R. Martin described \"Andor\" as \"masterful science fiction\" and \"the main event of the year,\" especially noting the realism and tension of the plot, which are rare for the genre.

\"Andor\" was also nominated for 14 Emmy Awards, the third highest number of nominations among all \"Star Wars\" projects after the first two seasons of \"The Mandalorian.\" At the same time, Diego Luna (Cassian Andor) and Genevieve O'Reilly, who played Senator Mon Mothma, did not make it into the acting categories.

Pedro Pascal himself, who previously played Din Djarin in \"The Mandalorian,\" will soon return to the role in the full-length film \"The Mandalorian & Grogu,\" which is scheduled for release in 2026.
