Sega has revealed new details about Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. A fresh trailer and a detailed description of the features being prepared by the developers have been released for the project. Judging by the scale, this is one of the most feature-rich games in the Sonic franchise.
The main emphasis is on the variety of modes. In Grand Prix, players will compete in a series of four races, World Match will offer a global ranking system, and in Friend Match you can create your own lobbies with full control over the rules. For fans of experiments, there is Race Park with entertaining formats, record lovers will get Time Trial, and Custom Match will allow you to play on a split screen.
The developers have added other elements as well. In Rival System, users face off against a selected opponent who will comment on the races. The game supports local co-op for up to four people and crossplay, allowing owners of different platforms to compete against each other. All this makes CrossWorlds universal — it will suit both those who prefer to play alone and fans of online battles.
