The developers have confirmed a sequel. FreeStyle Football 2 will be released in the second quarter of 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. The project will also appear on Game Pass. The creators promise expanded customization, a developed club system, and an emphasis on esports competitions. According to WOORE CEO, Myungsu Kim, the key elements should be attack building, teamwork, and the joy of shared victories.
Twelve characters with unique skills are planned for release: quick passes, team support skills, and powerful shots in crucial moments. Matches will be played in a 5-on-5 online format, where interaction, coordination, and tactics, rather than individual tricks, will be key.
