Recently, a Stellar Blade fan page posted a 2015 photo of game director Hyung-Tae Kim with Katsuhiro Harada, the author of the Tekken series. The photo drew a reaction from the Japanese developer and an unexpected remark from the Korean colleague.
"What nostalgia. He once told me that he likes the TEKKEN series. I met him again backstage at The Game Awards ceremony late last year, and he became a very calm and refined gentleman. I am a fan of his work." — commented Harada.
Kim responded by admitting that he had always admired Tekken and its creator, and added with irony:
"Thank you for remembering me. To be honest, I've been secretly training, preparing to participate in TEKKEN! If my participation proves impossible, then I must ask you, please, let Eve take the stage instead of me."
The idea of Stellar Blade's heroine appearing in Tekken 8 sounds particularly interesting, given that Noctis already appeared in Tekken 7. His example showed that a character fighting with weapons in another game can be adapted for Tekken without any problems.
