Several indie developers didn't want to share release windows with Hollow Knight: Silksong.
SUNNY SIDE UP has announced the postponement of the full version release date of the witch life simulator Little Witch in the Woods from the previously scheduled September 4 to September 15. The developers didn't want to share the release with Hollow Knight: Silksong, considering the Team Cherry studio project to be larger.
We recently and excitedly announced the release date for the full version. However, shortly after the announcement, we learned that Hollow Knight: Silksong, a highly anticipated new release and masterpiece of the gaming industry, is coming out on the same day. Silksong is a game that we view with reverence as developers and eagerly await as players. Given its enormous impact, we fear that releasing Little Witch in the Woods on the same day will not only disappoint our dedicated team, but also disappoint our dedicated audience.
Previously, Hollow Knight: Silksong had already pushed back the releases of CloverPit, Aeterna Lucis, Demonschool, and Baby Steps.
