Several indie developers have already decided not to share release windows with Hollow Knight: Silksong.
SUNNY SIDE UP has announced the postponement of the full version release date of the witch life simulator Little Witch in the Woods from the previously planned September 4 to September 15. The developers did not want to share the release with Hollow Knight: Silksong, considering the project of Team Cherry studio to be larger.
Recently, we were finally excited to announce the release date of the full version. However, shortly after the announcement, we learned that Hollow Knight: Silksong, a long-awaited novelty, a masterpiece of the gaming industry, is coming out on the same day. Silksong is a game that we revere as developers and look forward to as players. Given its enormous impact, we fear that the release of Little Witch in the Woods on the same day will not only disappoint our dedicated team, but also disappoint our dedicated audience.
Previously, Hollow Knight: Silksong had already managed to push back the releases of CloverPit, Aeterna Lucis, Demonschool and Baby Steps.
