Ubisoft has unexpectedly decided to sell five Atari brands. The list includes Cold Fear, I Am Alive, Child of Eden, Grow Home and its sequel Grow Up.
Atari acquired full rights to the brands, promising not only their re-releases, but also expansion to new platforms and other distribution channels. Atari's Vice President emphasized that "now there is a chance to bring back memories for old fans."
The deal includes a variety of projects. Cold Fear is a 2005 horror-survival. I Am Alive is a post-apocalyptic vision of survival. Child of Eden was a unique audiovisual experience. Grow Home and Grow Up are warmly received platformers.
