In 2025, Captain Ferren Areios of the Sixth Company of the Ultramarines will not only get the novel "Master of Rites," but also his own miniature for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game.
Back in April, Games Workshop and Black Library presented the book Master of Rites by writer Rob Young, dedicated to Space Marine Ferren Areios, who leads the Sixth Company of the Ultramarines.
Now the team has officially announced that this character will get a miniature and will appear in the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game. Armed with an impressive thunder hammer, he is ready to liberate the worlds of Ultramar from the power of Nurgle and other enemies.
The Master of Rites in the Adeptus Astartes order is responsible for recording the battle traditions of his brothers, so Areios is accompanied by a servo-skull with an autopenn, which is ready to take urgent notes right in the middle of the battle.
Areios is not the first Ultramarines hero from the Black Library books to receive his miniature. He follows in the footsteps of Captain Uriel Ventris of the Fourth Company, the star of the "Ultramarines" series of novels.
Ferren Areios will be available at the end of this year simultaneously with the release of the novel "Master of Rites."
