IGN has released a teaser trailer for the movie "Return to Silent Hill," which is scheduled to premiere in January 2026.
The project is directed by Christophe Gans, who previously worked on the first "Silent Hill" movie in 2006. The new film, based on the events of Silent Hill 2, promises to be close in spirit to the original. The plot centers on James Sunderland (played by Jeremy Irvine), who receives a mysterious letter from his wife Mary (Hannah Emily Anderson), urging him to return to the mysterious and sinister town of Silent Hill.
