CD Projekt presented a new financial report, according to which 2025 brings the company significant success.
In the first half of 2025, the company recorded revenue of PLN 443 million ($121 million) and operating profit of PLN 168 million ($46 million). Net profit amounted to PLN 155 million ($42 million). The results are due to continued sales of CD Projekt RED games.
Special attention is paid to Cyberpunk 2077, which this year was added to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium library, and the game was also released on Mac and Nintendo Switch 2 devices. On the latter platform, the project has become one of the best-selling among third-party developers.
The financial director of CD Projekt S.A., Piotr Nielubowicz, reported that sales of the Phantom Liberty expansion exceeded 10 million copies, and The Witcher 3 reached the mark of 60 million copies.
The company also increased its staff to 799 people. Currently, 444 developers are working on The Witcher 4, and 116 CD Projekt RED specialists are working on the sequel to Cyberpunk, tentatively named "Cyberpunk 2". The number of employees working on the Sirius projects and a new franchise codenamed Hadar has also increased.
