In celebration of the fifth anniversary of Jujutsu Kaisen, MAPPA and TOHO studios have unveiled a teaser for the third season and revealed key details about the continuation.
TOHO Animation and MAPPA studio have presented the first teaser for the third season of the anime "Jujutsu Kaisen". The season is subtitled "Culling Game. Part 1" and will cover the first part of the "Culling Game" arc.
The trailer shows the events shortly after the Shibuya incident, showcasing Yuji Itadori's battle with Yuta Okkotsu, Naoya Zenin's fight with Choso, and Maki Zenin's massacre of the Zenin clan members.
Shota Goshozono, who worked on the previous season, is returning as the director, with Hiroshi Seko in charge of the script and music as always.
The premiere is scheduled for January 2026. As early as November 2025, a special screening will take place in Japanese cinemas — viewers will be presented with the first two episodes, combined with the final part of the "Shibuya Incident" arc from the second season.
There is no information yet about a possible release in Russian cinemas. However, premiere episodes of the second season of "Dandadan" and the premiere of "Gachiakuta" were previously released on the big screen in Russia.
